The Minister for Environment Michael Russell MSP announced a one year only measure designed to tackle the impacts of climate change.  This will allow £3M in grant aid and only schemes demonstrating the greatest contribution to climate change are likely to be successful. Details of this new scheme are attached.

The deadline for outline proposals is 31 August with all planting to be complete by 31st May 2008 if you are successful in this competitive scheme.
